Day 1 - Kathmandu - Arughat (570m)
Transport by a local bus or reserved Kathmandu to Arughat central commercial town of the area near the river Budhi Gandaki, a long and important river in the region. About 6 h of bus.

Day 2 - Arughat - Labubensi (880m)
An easy walk along the river Budhi Gandaki through Majhi Gaun, Arkhet and Kurinpani across rice fields and then climb up Labubensi, a small village located near Budhi Gandaki.

Day 3 - Labubensi - Khorlabensi (970m)
A walk on the flat along the river, crossing some small streams. We will continue to Khorlabensi by walk through Machhikholagaun. 5 h walk.

Day 4 - Khorlabensi - Jagat (1410m)
From here we take the traditional path of the Tour of Manaslu. The path begins to follow the Budhi Gandaki River. Easy trail to a hot spring, then we will cross Dovan where there are some tea shops and we will continue easily to Jagat, a place located on the narrow Budhi Gandaki valley. 6 h walk.

Day 5 - Jagat - Lokpa (2240m)
The trail continues through the Budhi Gandaki, it's easy to Salleri and Shirdibas, the trail crosses the river on the right side, a little climb up Phillime, a central village Where there will be a telephone service, a dispensary and a school. Lunch then climb up the grassy slope on the right side of the river to Eklibhatti. Then we leave the classic path of the Manaslu turn on the left to begin to climb on the right side through a small valley through the pine forest to Lokpa. 6 1/2 h walk.

Day 6 - Lokpa - Dumje (2440m)
We follow the river Syar Khola and forest of pine and rhododendron in a small valley. We go up to Dumje, a small village inhabited by the Bhotiyas. 5 h walk.

Day 7- Dumje-Rachen Gumba (3220m)
The trail begins to climb after crossing the Shyar Khola left through the birch forest and wheat crops. We go up to Chhekampar, one of the main villages of the Bhotiyas region where there are several walls of carved manis, religious mantras and prayer flags that float in the wind. A beautiful view of Ganesh Himal on the right side of the valley. The valley then becomes wide, the walk takes place on a beautiful agricultural land until Rachen Gumba after having crossed a small ridge. 5 h and a half walk.
Rachen Gumba is a part of a famous and important monastery of the region, it is said that a long time ago Milarepa came here to do meditation and he created this monastery dedicated to him. It is guarded by the Aanis who are nuns.

Day 8 - Rachen Gumba - Mu Gumba (3940 m)
The walk continues with a broad valley along the same river. We will walk easily through the meadow by the same way as the caravans for Tibet. Maybe we will see these yak caravans en route to Tibet. It is a beautiful walk through the stupas and walls of Manis decorated with prayer flags at the foot of the high mountains as far as Nele. Lunch then continue to Mugumba, a monastery which is the last dwelling of this valley. The rest of the road continues in Tibet. We will stop here also with the possibility of going down to Nele (3720m). 4 1/2 h walk and 6 1/2 h if you go down to Nyale.

Day 9 - Mugumba - Chhekampar
is easily follow the same river by the same way until Chhekampar village with several walls manis and great views of Ganesh Himal left. 5 h walk ..

Day 10 - Chhekampar-Lokpa
Descent by a birch forest and then to a lodge. Then we change the path and start to follow the right side of the river. One continues easily towards Ripchet then crossing a bridge and pursuit towards Lokpa. 6 h walk.

Day 11-  Lokpa - Bihi
A descent by the same route through the pine forest to the confluence of two rivers which include the Budhigandaki river. Cross the river to a suspension bridge. The path goes up and down along the river which leads us to Bihi through the small villages Dyang (1800m) and Ranagaun (1980m). 6 1/2 h walk.

Day 12 - Bihi - Namrung (2660m)
An easy walk to the top and then climb after crossing the river via a Ghap village. Then the valley narrows and the river plunges rapidly. A climb through an immense birch and pine forest to Namrong, a small village inhabited by the Bhotyas. 5 h walk.

Day 13 - Namrung - Shyala Kharka (3520m)
We continue to monitor the Budhi Gandaki crossing a forest of rhododendrons and a slight rise by Ligaun Syogaun and where there are very good apples grown by the locals. There is a superb view of Shyala Himal on the right side and you start to see Mount. Manaslu (8163 m) on the left. Continue to the village of Lho, a village with a very finely decorated stupa. Lunch. We descend into the bed of a small stream that we cross and then a slight climb leads us to Shyala Kharka through the forest of birches. Stunning views of Manaslu, Manaslu North, Sringi Himal, Shyala Himal. 5 h walk ..

Day 14 - Shyalakharka - Pungen Glacier (4742m) - Samagaun (3530m)
The valley becomes wider, you start to move north of the valley to see the Pungen glacier, glacier south of Manaslu Himal. Then along the ridge of the glacier to the monastery dedicated to Milarepa and some caves where Milarepa was doing meditation. A beautiful view of Manaslu and Sringi Himal. Then descend to reach the usual trail again, to easily reach Samagaun, one of the main villages of Bhotiyas of this region. Beautiful view of Manaslu and other peaks. 6 h walk.

Day 15 - Samagaun - Samdo (3690m)
The landscape becomes desert and vegetation is scarce. Easy walk along the river Budhi Gandaki where we will have before us an unforgettable view of the Samdo peak. The trail continues and crosses the river and then a small climb up to Samdo, the last village of the region. The houses have flat roofs and the population lives from farming, from a bit of agriculture and seasonal migrations. There is a panoramic view of Manaslu, Samdo Peak, Larke Himal. 3 to 3 h and a half walk.

Day 16 - Rest  in Samdo for acclimatization before the pass, can visit Samdo

Day 17-  Samdo - Dharamsala (4470)
An easy walk to the river Budhi Gandaki we finally left after crossing it for a low rise with superb views of Himal Larke and the summit of Manaslu and left Samdo behind us. Continue to Dharamsala, a wilderness sheltered before the pass. 3 1/2 h walk.

Day 18 - Dharamsala - Larkya pass (5016 m) - Bhimthang (3720m)
The final destination: it will be up early in the morning around 3:30 am. The climb will be long but progressive through the moraine until the Larke pass (5016). We will have an impressive view of Himlung Himal, Larke Himal, Gyajungkang, Pari Himal, and the Annapurnas massif west of the pass. The descent is steep after the pass to the Himlung glacier. Lunch then easy descent to Bhimthang. 9 to 9 h and a half walk if there is snow at the pass otherwise 7 h walk.

Day 19 - Bhimthang - Dharapani (1860m)
We are now in the Annapurna region. A walk along the river Dudh Khola and a superb view of Manaslu and peak 29 towards the north side. We descend through the immense pine forest to Tilji, Gurung village. Then to Dharapani located near the Marshyangdy river where we find the classic path around the Annapurna. 7 h walk.

Day 20- Dharapani-Jagat (1420m)
We follow the path in front of Annapurna round. Descend along the Marshyangdi River by Tal, the last village in the Manang region. We descend to Chamje, then easily to Jagat, where the inhabitants are Tamangs and Gurungs. 6 h walk.

Day 21 - Jagat - Kathmandu
An easy descent to Syange for 1 hour and a half along the Marshyangdi River where we will take the bus to Besishar and Kathmandu. 6 h and a half by bus.
